    WHAT POCHETTINO SAID

The Argentine was asked about Colwill's condition at a press conference. The coach told reporters: "We don’t believe that it is so bad. It is a small issue that maybe he didn’t feel comfortable. We knew before maybe we wouldn’t start with him, but he was ready to play and then he felt something. But it is not a big issue and I hope that he can be in training tomorrow."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Colwill has featured in all but two of Chelsea's matches in all competitions so far this season. The 20-year-old centre-back has been a key player under Pochettino since he returned from a loan spell at Brighton last season.
